This is the most mamsy-pamsy stupid game on the planet. Not only is it no fun but it can drive you mad because the outcome is determined by the person reviewing the answers. The answers are in no way reflective of the stupid one word description that is given and the outcome is so stupid because the best answer is never chosen. Rather the reviewer chooses the answer that best suits his/her fancy which makes any logic for the answers chosen fly out the window like a stale fart that blows in the wind. I have friends that like this game and when I have to play it I cringe because I am trapped in a living hell of a stupid game that has no correct answers. Burn this game and the factory that makes it. Kill the makers… who are probably a bunch of tree hugging peace freaks that were losers all their life so in order for them to feel good they had to invent a game that makes no sense and doesn’t offend anyone. Give me a real game with winners and losers at least I know I am in control of my destiny! I would have rated this game a 1/4 star but 1 star is the lowest I can rate it. If you enjoy this game there is something seriously wrong with you, or your just plain OLD!

  • If you want a game that is totally random that even a child who cant read can win this is the game for you. You are just as likely to win by randomly selecting your cards to play as you are by thoughtfully playing to win as evidenced by the last time we played it at a new years eve party when a child who couldnt read won. This game is a joke….

  • This game is very boring with absolutely no strategy and no skill involved. I hate it when some one drags this game out at a party, stating they just came across a great game they havent played yet. another ornament for the closet is suppose. Heres an idea get a deck of cards and play hearts. Easy to learn impossible to master.

I feel this game is to boring and simple for anyone in the age group listed. The problem I have with this game is that anyone who understands the topics on the cards is too old to be entertained by this game.

As I have received a large number of negative posts, I assume from people who like the game, not people looking for a honest review, I feel the need to elaborate.

I understand the concept of the game, I simply dont find it entertaining. I understand if you ‘bend’ the rules of the game, you can make fun new games. The same goes for virtually anything so I am not writing a review on what you COULD do with the game, just on what you are SUPPOSED to do.

If you have trouble finding topics of conversation, or dont have any funny people in your circle of friends. This game may be useful.

If you are looking for a new game to play while drinking with friends, this is probably a game for you.

If you dont sit around drinking and playing games, or dont have problems creating your own entertaining topics for discussion, I dont think you will enjoy this game. CASE IN POINT – the only people who have ever seen this game at my house and wanted to play it are pre-adolescent children. EVERY adult I know had no interest in this game. This game has proven popular for the neighborhood kids aged 9-12, which is not the age group I belong to.

  • My wife had heard wonderful things about Apples to Apples, so we bought it for our regular game night. We were worried because the description on the game sounded boring, but so much positive press couldn’t be ignored.

After playing for a half hour with a group of 8 20-30 somethings, I came away feeling very “meh” about the game. The game played out exactly as it sounds and there really wasn’t much fun baked directly in the game. The fun of the game is derived entirely from conversations, but do we really need a game for that?
